What BHG Financial's site says

BHG lists personal loans, business loans, business loan amounts up to $500K, terms up to 12 years and funds in as few as 5 days after approval.

From the BHG Financial homepage (checked October 2026): the company lists personal loans, business loans, a medical professional loan option and institutional programs. For business loans it advertises "loan amounts up to $500K," and a footnote says business loans typically range from $20,000 to $250,000, with up to $500,000 for well-qualified borrowers.

It states business terms up to 12 years and says funds arrive in as few as 5 days after approval as a single lump sum. Approval is subject to credit, and rates and terms vary by applicant.

The page does not state a minimum credit score, time in business or revenue requirement, so we cannot compare those. It also says not all solutions, amounts, rates or terms are available in all states.

Side-by-side on the points both sides publish

BHG advertises longer terms and a 5-day timeline; ROI Funder offers a wider amount range and same-business-day funding on approved, complete files.

A long term lowers the payment, but you pay interest for more years. Compare total repayment, not only the monthly figure. Our total cost guide shows how.

Matching the product to the purchase

Money that pays back over years suits long-term assets; money for inventory, payroll or a short project suits shorter products.

A rule that avoids most regret: match the repayment period to how long the purchase keeps producing.

  • Ten-year benefit, long loan. A build-out or major machine used for a decade fits a longer term.
  • Six-month benefit, short money. Seasonal inventory that sells through by spring should not be financed for years.
  • Uncertain benefit, flexible money. A line of credit charges only on what you draw.

Illustrative example: a landscaper buys a $60,000 truck-and-trailer set expected to earn $2,500 a month in new jobs. A 5-year equipment financing term makes the payment fit inside those new earnings. A 6-month working capital advance for the same truck would not. See our equipment financing page for the structure.

When BHG Financial is the better fit

BHG may suit established borrowers who want a larger single loan with a long repayment term and can wait several days for funds.

  • You want a long term. Terms up to 12 years can reduce the monthly payment on a big project.
  • You are well qualified. The higher amounts are described for well-qualified borrowers.
  • You are not in a rush. A 5-day timeline works when the purchase is planned.

The BHG page also lists institutional and venture programs and a medical professional loan, which are outside what ROI Funder does. We also do not place commercial real estate mortgages, so if that is your goal, a commercial mortgage specialist is the place to start.

Questions that matter on a longer loan

On a long-term loan, ask about total interest, prepayment rules and what collateral or guarantees are required.

A longer term feels easier because the payment is smaller. The trade is more total interest and a longer commitment. Illustrative example: $100,000 repaid over 10 years at a fixed payment of about $1,300 a month totals roughly $156,000. The same amount over 3 years at about $3,300 a month totals about $119,000. The long loan costs $37,000 more but leaves $2,000 a month of breathing room.

Neither is wrong. The right pick depends on whether that $2,000 a month earns more than it costs in interest. Ask each lender these questions: Is there a prepayment penalty? Is a lien or personal guarantee required? Can I make extra payments toward principal? Is the rate fixed or variable? Rates and terms in this example are illustrative, not offers.

When ROI Funder is the better fit

ROI Funder suits owners who need money the same business day, have 500-range credit, or want payments that follow sales.

If a supplier deadline or a repair cannot wait five days, speed becomes the deciding factor. ROI Funder's target is same business day funding on an approved, complete file, which means the application plus 3 months of business bank statements.

We also consider 500+ FICO, 6+ months in business and $20,000+ in monthly revenue, and every product is placed through our 100+ funder network, so one application can produce more than one structure to compare. Applying uses a soft credit pull with no impact on your score and no obligation.

For a larger or lower-cost goal, ask us about SBA loans. They are slower, but often the lowest cost for qualified borrowers.

Frequently asked questions

Does BHG Financial offer same-day funding?

Its homepage says funds arrive in as few as 5 days after approval. It does not state same-day funding.

Does ROI Funder offer loans over $500,000?

Our range runs to $5,000,000, depending on the product and your file. Larger amounts usually mean more documentation and a slower timeline.

No. We do not place commercial real estate mortgages. Our guide to commercial real estate loans explains how they work and what to ask for.

Can I compare offers from both?

Yes. ROI Funder uses a soft credit pull and there is no obligation to accept, so you can set our offers beside any others.
