What Camino Financial's site says now

Camino's homepage says it no longer accepts applications and that an affiliate takes them on the Quantum Lending Solutions site.

The Camino Financial homepage (checked October 2026) says: "We no longer accept applications, but our affiliate company does so on the Quantum Lending Solutions site." It sends applicants to quantumlends.com.

The site describes Camino as a nationally certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) serving underbanked, minority-owned businesses, and offers its pages in English and Spanish. It also lists licensing information in California.

The homepage does not state loan products, amounts, credit, revenue or time-in-business requirements, speed or terms. We therefore make no claims about those. If you want details, read the affiliate's own pages and ask for terms in writing.

Mission lenders and market lenders: a useful distinction

A CDFI is built to serve communities that mainstream lenders reach poorly. A market funding service is built to match speed and structure to your file.

CDFIs are mission-driven lenders certified under a federal program. They often combine capital with coaching, and they may serve borrowers with thin credit files or limited banking history. That is a real strength.

Market funding services have a different strength: breadth and speed. ROI Funder uses one application to find funders in our network that fit your revenue, credit and industry, then shows true cost, payback period and monthly-equivalent payments before you sign.

Neither model is automatically cheaper. A mission lender may offer lower pricing to borrowers who fit its profile. A market lender may fund faster. Compare offers on total repayment, using the method in our offer comparison worksheet.

What ROI Funder asks for

ROI Funder looks for 500+ FICO, 6+ months in business and $20,000+ in monthly revenue, with an application and 3 months of bank statements.

Applying takes a few minutes online. We use a soft credit pull, so there is no impact on your credit score, and you have no obligation to take an offer. Coverage is all 50 states.

  • Amounts: $5,000 to $5,000,000.
  • Speed: on an approved, complete file, money can arrive the same business day.
  • Products: working capital, term loans, lines of credit, equipment financing, revenue-based financing and SBA loans.

A complete file is the application plus 3 months of business bank statements. Owners who run mostly cash or who bank informally should know that statements are the main way we see your revenue.

Who may do better with the Camino route

Owners with limited credit history, newer or smaller businesses, or a preference for a community lender may find the CDFI route a better match.

Our guidelines require $20,000 or more in monthly revenue and 6+ months in business. A very small business, or a startup, may not meet them. In that case, a community-focused lender may be the more sensible first step. We have no way to say whether Camino's affiliate would approve you, since its site lists no criteria we can verify.

Also consider a Spanish-language experience. Camino's site is offered in English and Spanish. Our application and team work in English. If your preference is a bilingual process, weigh that heavily.

Other things worth asking any lender: What is the total repayment? Is there a prepayment discount or penalty? Is a personal guarantee required? Who is the lender named on the agreement?

Preparing your paperwork whichever way you go

Clean bank statements, a simple business summary and consistent records help every application, mission lender or not.

Underbanked owners sometimes lack the polished paperwork larger lenders expect. You can fix much of that in an afternoon.

  • Separate accounts. Run business income through a business account, not a personal one.
  • Three months of statements. Download them as PDFs and check that every page is included.
  • A one-page summary. What the business does, how long it has operated, and what the money is for.
  • A simple payback estimate. If the money buys equipment or stock, write down the added profit you expect each month.

These steps do not guarantee any outcome, but they shorten the process for every lender. If your deposits are small or irregular, building a few months of clean history first may improve your options later. Our guide to how much funding your business can afford helps you size the request realistically.

Where ROI Funder fits better

ROI Funder suits established businesses that need speed, larger amounts or several product choices from one application.

Illustrative example: a family-owned auto shop with steady deposits of about $35,000 a month needs $60,000 for a second lift and diagnostic equipment, and a supplier has a deadline. An equipment financing offer, funded in 2 to 7 days, may fit the equipment, while a small line of credit covers parts purchasing in the meantime.

This is the kind of file where matching helps. We compare structures against the equipment's payback, not just the approval. Our equipment payback guide shows the arithmetic. Numbers above are illustrative only.

If you are at the early or very small stage, use our guides to build a clean set of bank statements, then come back. Three months of consistent deposits help every application.
