What Credibly's site says
Credibly lists $5K to $600K of funding, 500+ FICO, 6+ months in business and $15,000+ in monthly revenue, with approval as fast as 2 hours.
From the Credibly homepage (checked October 2026):
- Products: a short-term working capital loan, merchant cash advance, business line of credit up to $300,000, equipment loan, long-term business loan and business checking. It says SBA loans and some other products are offered through partners.
- Amounts: headline of financing up to $600,000, with a $5K to $600K range.
- Requirements: operate in the U.S., 6+ months in business, $15,000+ in monthly revenue ($180,000+ annually per its FAQ), and a 500+ FICO.
- Startups: the page says they "almost never qualify."
- Speed: approval "as fast as 2 hours" and funding "as fast as 4 hours," though the FAQ gives "as little as 24 hours" and "as fast as 1 business day from approval." Those figures differ, so ask which applies to you.
- Cost: factor rates "as low as 1.11" for merchants with excellent credit; APRs and fees not stated.
Requirements compared
The credit and time-in-business floors match. Credibly's monthly revenue guideline is lower at $15,000; ROI Funder's is $20,000.
| Item | Credibly | ROI Funder |
|---|---|---|
| Credit | 500+ FICO | 500+ FICO considered |
| Time in business | 6+ months | 6+ months |
| Monthly revenue | $15,000+ | $20,000+ |
| Top amount | Up to $600,000 | Up to $5,000,000 |
| Speed | Funding as fast as 4 hours (FAQ: 24 hours to 1 business day) | Same business day on approved, complete files |
| Credit check | Soft pull to pre-qualify | Soft pull to apply |
A business making $17,000 a month fits Credibly's guideline and misses ours. A business that needs $900,000 fits ours and exceeds Credibly's stated range.
Factor rates: do the multiplication
A factor rate of 1.11 on $50,000 means repaying $55,500, a $5,500 cost; a higher factor rate costs proportionally more.
Factor rates work by multiplying the amount you receive. They are not annual percentages, so they do not translate neatly to APR.
Illustrative example for $50,000:
- Factor 1.11 repays $55,500, cost $5,500.
- Factor 1.25 repays $62,500, cost $12,500.
- Factor 1.40 repays $70,000, cost $20,000.
The best factor rates go to strong borrowers, as Credibly itself says. If the repayment period is 6 months, the cost per year is much higher than the factor suggests. If it is 12 months, lower. Always look at repayment period and payment size together. See what a 1.3 factor rate costs and the total cost guide.
When Credibly is the better fit
Credibly may suit owners with $15,000 to $20,000 in monthly revenue, those wanting business checking alongside funding, or a 6-month-old business with steady deposits.
- Revenue just below $20,000. Its guideline is $15,000.
- You want one company for several products. It lists a line of credit, equipment loan and long-term loan under one roof, plus business checking.
- You are ready to move fast. The page advertises approval in hours for qualified files.
Read the pre-qualification terms and ask for total repayment, in dollars, before accepting.
What to do if you are just under the revenue line
If you are close to a revenue guideline, wait for another month of deposits or reduce the request rather than forcing an application.
If your monthly revenue sits at $17,000 or $18,000, you are near the guidelines of several funders. A few honest steps may help.
- Check your averages. Funders often average three months of deposits. One strong month can lift the average.
- Include all business deposits. Card settlements, transfers and cash deposited to the business account count if documented.
- Reduce the ask. A smaller amount against the same revenue is easier to approve and easier to repay.
- Wait a cycle. If a seasonal bump is coming, applying after it can change the picture.
Do not move personal money into the business account to inflate deposits. Funders can spot it, and it undermines trust. For a realistic size, see how much of revenue can go to loan payments.
When ROI Funder is the better fit
ROI Funder suits owners who want a network of funders to compete for the file, need more than $600,000, or want SBA and lower-cost options compared.
One application, a soft credit pull with no impact on your credit score, no obligation. We match your file to funders in our 100+ funder network and show true cost, payback period and monthly-equivalent payments before you sign. Coverage is all 50 states.
Products include working capital, term loans, lines of credit, equipment financing, revenue-based financing and SBA loans. Money can arrive the same business day on an approved, complete file, meaning the application plus 3 months of business bank statements.
Because credit and time-in-business floors are the same, the decision usually turns on revenue and amount. Apply to both if you are near the line.
