Kapitus in its own words
Kapitus offers business loans, revenue-based financing, lines of credit, equipment financing and more, and says one application can bring up to six competing offers.
From the Kapitus homepage and its business loans page (both checked October 2026):
- Products: business loans, equipment financing, business line of credit and revenue-based financing, with SBA loans, purchase order financing, invoice factoring and healthcare financing in its menu.
- Multiple offers: "receive up to six competing offers with one simple application."
- Who funds: loans and revenue-based offers "come through Kapitus and/or members of our financing network"; equipment financing and lines of credit come through network members. It adds that loans "may be funded by WebBank."
- Amounts: "Financing up to $5M."
- Credit: "the minimum credit score requirement for our small business loans is 625."
- Speed: "Decisions in as Little as 4 Hours," with funding "in as little as 24 hours" depending on how quickly the full package arrives.
- Pricing: its business loans carry "one fixed price that does not change" rather than a rate. The page lists a starting figure of both 6.2% and 6.25% in different spots.
The business loans page did not state a time-in-business or revenue minimum.
Three questions that decide it
Check your credit score, how soon you need the money, and how you want the price presented. Those three usually settle the choice.
- Is your score below 625? Kapitus's stated business-loan minimum rules you out for that product. ROI Funder considers 500+ FICO as part of the whole file.
- Do you need funds today? Kapitus says funding can take as little as 24 hours. ROI Funder funds approved, complete files the same business day.
- How do you want cost explained? A fixed price is easy to understand in total dollars. What it does not show on its own is the yearly cost, which depends on how fast you repay. We show total cost, payback period and a monthly-equivalent payment side by side so you can see both.
One practical note: when a company presents several offers, ask which entity funds each one and whose agreement you will sign. Kapitus says the specific lender will be identified in your agreement, so read that page before you sign.
Side by side
Top amounts match at $5 million. The differences are the credit floor, the funding timeline and how offers are presented.
| Item | Kapitus | ROI Funder |
|---|---|---|
| Top amount | Up to $5M | Up to $5,000,000 |
| Minimum credit | 625 for its small business loans | 500+ FICO considered |
| Time in business | Not stated on the pages checked | 6+ months |
| Revenue | Not stated on the pages checked | $20,000+ monthly |
| Decision / funding | Decisions as fast as 4 hours; funding as fast as 24 hours | Same business day on approved, complete files |
| Offers | Up to six competing offers | Matched across our network |
| Extra products | Invoice factoring, PO financing, healthcare | Working capital, RBF, term, line, equipment, SBA |
Turning a fixed price into something comparable
Divide the fixed cost by the months you will take to repay. That gives a cost per month you can compare with any other offer.
Illustrative example: $100,000 of financing with a $20,000 fixed cost.
- Repaid over 10 months, the cost is $2,000 per month of use.
- Repaid over 18 months, the cost is about $1,111 per month of use.
Same total dollars, very different yearly cost. Now ask what the money produces. If $100,000 of inventory brings $8,000 a month of extra gross profit, either schedule pays for itself, but the shorter one squeezes cash flow harder in the early months. Run your own numbers with the business loan calculator and read APR vs factor rate for the conversion.
When Kapitus is the better fit
Kapitus may suit owners with 625+ credit who need invoice factoring, purchase order financing or healthcare-specific financing, which ROI Funder does not place.
- Receivables-heavy businesses. Kapitus lists invoice factoring and PO financing. We do not place either.
- Healthcare practices. It lists a dedicated healthcare financing line.
- Owners who like a single fixed price. If total dollars matter most to you, its pricing format is simple to read.
- Strong credit and a day to spare. With 625+ and no same-day pressure, its stated timeline may be enough.
When ROI Funder is the better fit
ROI Funder suits owners with credit between 500 and 624, those who need money the same business day, and owners who want payback math shown before signing.
We place working capital, revenue-based financing, term loans, lines of credit, equipment financing and SBA loans, from $5,000 to $5,000,000 in all 50 states. The application takes a few minutes, uses a soft pull and carries no obligation. Our 100+ funder network gives a sub-625 file real options rather than an automatic decline.
Same-day funding applies to approved, complete files: the application plus 3 months of business bank statements.
Frequently asked questions
What credit score does Kapitus require?
Its business loans page states a 625 minimum for its small business loans. ROI Funder considers scores of 500 and up.
Is Kapitus a single lender?
Its site says offers come through Kapitus and/or members of its financing network, and that loans may be funded by WebBank.
How fast does Kapitus fund?
Its site says decisions in as little as 4 hours and funding in as little as 24 hours, depending on when the full package is submitted.
Does ROI Funder offer invoice factoring?
No. If your cash is tied up in invoices, a line of credit or working capital may be our closest fit, but factoring itself is not something we place.
Do Kapitus offers all come from Kapitus itself?
Not always. Its homepage says equipment financing and lines of credit come through members of its financing network, while loans and revenue-based offers come through Kapitus and/or network members.
